BH: A proper and more detailed description would allow the implementation at both sides of an interface to prepare the system for ingesting data, both for integration tests and for dissemination of preliminary data in a short term.

For SRCnet it would help us to build a system mimicking the final interface(s) without needing to connect with actual engineering data, and to understand how SDP pipelines might need to be modified if they are being run in SRCs with data inputs stored in the data lake.

The SKAO-SRC ICD document
SKAO TO SRC TECHNICAL INTERFACE DESCRIPTION
SKA-TEL-SKO-0001072

will be included in the package of documents to be reviewed in September 2023 by a group of external reviewers.

This document describes (at least at this stage) the data dissemination from the telescopes to the SRCNet

The update required should be on:

Verify the interfaces described in the document on the notification and data dissemination of new data. Identify if these interfaces are still valid, if they need simplification or if there are interfaces missing
Identify science metadata associated with the data to be distributed and add the list to the document. Identify the format of the notification message or file
Remove unused interfaces in case of changing the approach
Also, possible new workflow diagrams could be added, better clarification of intermediate areas, etc
