      The SRC sites in particular and the SRCNet in general need to know the performance of the network links interconnecting the SRC sites. Increasing the knowledge of the tools for measuring the network performance will facilitate the future work to identify (and mitigate) bottlenecks as well as to monitor the network (which will probably be needed in operation phase )

    Description

      PerfSONAR is a tool that can be installed in 2 or more sites and provides information about the network performance among those sites. It is already being used by most NRENS and infrastructures such as the WLCG to automatically monitor the network.

      In this feature we want do get documentation and increase the knowledge around this tool by gathering documentation, organising a short demo and by installing perfSONAR in 2 or more sites so we can show how this tool can be used in the framework of the SRCNet.
