      Suitable method should be implented in the preADU plugin for TPM 1.2 and 1.6 in pyfabil to auto-detect the preADU.

      Suitable method is implemented in the preADU plugin for TPM 1.2 and 1.6 in pyfabil which allow the user to write and read preadu gains.

      Wrapper methods should be implemented in aavs-system tile.py and MCCS tile.

      An hardware test should be created, which will be only executed when the preADU is detected. 

       

      Hardware test should be executed on HW with and without the preADU, for example in Oxford and in AAVS2.

      The TPM support software has been updated to support the TPM 1.6 preADU with its finer attenuation control and read back the attenuator settings. The presence of the preADU is detected automatically. Documentation has been written to describe this.

    Description

      As a firmware developer I want MCCS to be able to autodetect the preADUs and write the gain of each Digital Step Attenuator of the preADU and read them back.
