    Description

The PST AA0.5 Voltage Recorder writes the voltage data streams from the beamformer to a high speed file system on local storage (e.g. NVME drive). This file system is not backed up and is not intended to be directly or readily accessible to commissioning scientists. Ideally the data products would be automatically transferred to the much larger and more readily available shared storage file system (i.e. CEPHFS) which is colocated and directly accessible to SDP.

      This feature implements

      • Automated transfer of Voltage Recorder data products from the PST recording server to the SDP Shared Storage
      • A meta-data file that describes the data products (complying with ADR-55 and described in AT3-398) will be written and stored alongside each set of data files.
