      The work on this enabler provides a solution approach to deploy and administer the EDA configuration which is agreed upon by all relevant parties. The outcome of this enabler will help deploy the EDA in various software environments in PI 18 so that archiver data can be made available as early as possible.

Also performed some tests with low resources to test how many attributes and events can be handled successfully in such circumstances.     Description

      There are some concerns over the existing approach to deploying and configuring the EDA. The scope of this enabler is to work out a solution that enables fulfilling the requirements of the developer team as well as addresses the concerns of the System team. The solution should specify:

      1. Way to deploy EDA for
        1. Mid and Low
        2. Various ska environments: dev, operation sandbox, PSI, ITF
      2. Way to administer the EDA configuration so that attributes of various subsystem devices are archived
        1. At the time of deployment
        2. Additions/modifications/deletions once the system is deployed
      3. Any security concerns
      4. Follow the best practices in k8s

      It is possible that separate approaches for different environments but having a single approach is better.
