      Being able to export a DLaaS installation for SRCs is an important milestone, as it integrates two key elements, distributed storage and data analytics as a service using JupyterHub. We wondered whether having a procedure for installing the DLaaS, which takes into account the different installation variables of the platform, would improve its reproducibility and extend this functionality to the rest of the SRCs.

    Description

      This Feature is connected to previous work https://jira.skatelescope.org/browse/SP-2902. In this new feature, we want to provide an installation of all components of a DLaaS (Jupyter + Rucio) within a secure deployment framework that allows to reproduce the deployment of all components for a subset of scenarios. We have worked on different combinations of kubernetes version, helm, binder version packages and different incompatibilities have appeared. With this feature we want to fix these incompatibilities and provide an installation that allows us to gather the peculiarities of this DLaaS.
