      It is essential that specialist software can be tested as part of our SW lifecycle on dedicated hardware resources. This will be necessary not only for hardware that needs to run on custom platforms including ad-hoc accelerators, but for example when running performance or large scale testing on representative hardware resources.

      Results of these tests shall feed back in to the same structure as anything else.

    Description

      Split from SP-124 as agreed.

      This Features is to define a way for teams to plug specialist infrastructure into the CI framework. This should involve FPGAs, cluster PCs, GPUs and in general any dedicated platform that can not be served by a general purpose infrastructure.
