Description
The PI16 "thin control slice" establish minimal end-to-end hardware control functionality, causing a single TPM to stream Voltage data to a DAQ-to-file receiver and thence to file.
This feature describes "thickening" this slice by adding greater functionality.
The control script (Jupyter notebook) for the "thin slice" took the place of station-forming operations. In this feature we will implement this in the Station device itself. We will add more capability to the Tile device, implementing fully tile configuration.
Refine this section during planning. Select options from:
- Station formation in the Station devices, includes:
- TPM synchronization
- TPM base configuration (e.g. setting IPs to establish the data daisy chain)
- Complete the connexions for Configure()
- Add beam-formed data collection
- Initially default to zenith drift scan
- Stretch goal - Implement beam pointing
