      Given the CSP.LMC connected with CBF.LMC
      When a command is requested
      Then the CBF.LMC correctly acts on MID.CBF hardware performing the commands requested

      The commands used are the minimal sequence of commands which leads to a scan. The HW control will be implemented inside either the MID PSI or the MID ITF.

      • Mid.CBF 0.11.4 was integrated into Mid CSP.LMC (version 0.17.0).
      • Commands On, AssignResources, Configure, Scan, EndScan, GoToIdle and Release resources were demoed with Taranta dashboard at the System Demo 20.4.
      • Mid CSP.LMC was also deployed in MID ITF facility.
        • Some of the commands were tested with Taranta and Notebooks.
        • SKAMPI tests were ported to MID ITF testing repository by Atlas with our help.

      Support for integration work in MID ITF will be continued.

    Description

      To advance and derisk the control chain for MID in advance of the sITF an early demonstration of the CSP.LMC (deployed from the SKAO software stack) control of the TDC to produce expected behavior for a small set of commands is sought.
      In preparation to the HW test integration at least a couple of extended synchronization meetings between CIPA and CREAM are expected to be held.
