      We suggest to use:

      • DM tolerance = +/- 1 DM step from DM plan
      • Width tolerance = +/- half a convolution width used in SPDT
      • S/N tolerance calculated from the radiometer equation and effective pulse width from DM smearing.

    Description

      Follow-up work after SP-2808, where we have tested the SPS pipeline with SKA-sized test vectors for the first time.
      The thresholds in the PSS single pulse search (SPS) pipeline of the PSS testing framework are refined based on a statistical analysis in the Matlab 'gold standard' model of SPS.
