      Present day implementation of CSP.LMC control and sub-array still uses the BC 0.11 and to be able to correctly interact to the other element's LMC need some ad hoc code. Transitioning to BC >=0.16, CSP.LMC will inherit automatically such behaviour, simplifying the future development and maintenance.

      The feature is implemented by the following versions of the code, where ska-tango-base dependency is at version 0.17.0:

      ska-csp-lmc-common v0.15.0 - REL-634
      ska-csp-lmc-mid v0.6.0 - REL-636
      ska-csp-lmc-low v0.15.0 - REL-638

      However, at the present day a further update has been done and the code has been released with ska-tango-base v0.18.1

      ska-csp-lmc-low v0.7.1 - REL-648

      Note that the present problems in the integration environment (SKAMPI) makes not possible to integrate these versions.

    Description

      Present day implementation of CSP control and sub-array uses the BC 0.13 or newer baseline code and state model. To be able to correctly interact to the other element's LMC, now transitioning to the latest BC, it is necessary to update the current specific patches with an upgrade.
