Testbed for CADC Stack to access data through IVOA services

CADC stack provides a data management system (OpenCADC Storage Inventory) designed to manage a large number of files for science data archive distributed in different storage sites. This stack also provides a metadata layer that optimize the discoverability/access of the data, supporting also IVOA services.

Benefit: Creating a testbed for CADC Stack, we will gain expertise on a system that deals with a distributed archives at the same time that provides data access through IVOA services. This testbed will allow us to study/evaluate the CADC stack and the IVOA services as technologies for the prototype 1. Since some VO tools are focused on visualisation (e.g. Aladin), this testbed will also allow us to evaluate visualisation solutions based on IVOA standards (e.g. SODA+SAMP+Aladin)
