UIs for monitoring sub-system Tango devices are critical to observability within the SKA control system and this capability is expected to be used by engineers and operators when wanting to drill down looking for subsystem-level information.

Even if not particularly populated or elaborate, developing and deploying a simple dashboard for the SDP subsystem in the persistent "operations sandbox" environment is important getting feedback on what we might need to develop further in terms of observability into SDP for the sITF and AA0.5

    Description

      Introduction

When running a simulated AA0.5 observation, an "operator" should be able to access a dashboard for monitoring SDP-specific attributes.

This is expected to initially show basic sub-array state information, as well as status and information related to the visibility receive workflow and be extended in future PIs.

The aim is to provide an operator with improved visibility into the SDP system as an observation is excuted.
