      At several meetings attended by the PST and Cream teams and DP Product Management, we reviewed, updated and refined the CSP.LMC to PST.LMC interface. The results were presented at an Architecture Sync Meeting and the minutes of the meetings are recorded at PST.LMC Meetings and Outcomes.

      Based on the clarifications and agreements achieved during these meetings, the PST team

      • developed a PST Beam logical TANGO device that provides the control interface of PST for each PST Beam;
      • refined the JSON schema for PST Scan Configuration ([ska-telmodel v1.4.1|https://gitlab.com/ska-telescope/ska-telmodel/-/releases/1.4.1);] and
      • specified and exposed monitoring attributes that are rolled up from lower level PST TANGO devices and provided to the external controller (e.g. CSP.LMC).

      Initial integration between the PST Beam TANGO device and the RECV, SMRB and DSP components has also been completed, demonstrating vertical integration from the PST Beam through to the C++ signal processing software.

    Description

      Develop the CSP-LMC to PST API required for AA0.5 functionality and support future integration with CSP-LMC.

      • Review, refine and document the CSP-LMC to PST API with CREAM team and Architects.
      • Develop the PST Beam TANGO device that will control sub-ordinate PST TANGO devices (RECV, SMRB and DSP.DISK).
      • Implement the agreed CSP-LMC to PST API in the PST Beam TANGO device
