    Description

The disk-writer software component (DSP.DISK) of PST performs the complex-voltage writing to disk. It is a critical component required for the AA0.5 Voltage Recorder. Delivery of the feature will include:

      • Establishing a ska-pst-dsp repository with CI infrastructure to support building, automated testing, artefact generation.
      • Develop the ska-pst-dsp-disk C++ application which read data streams from the ska-pst-smrb ring buffers which are written to files.
      • Attach required meta-data to files written for data provenance and ensure they are written to persistent storage.
      • Develop the DSP TANGO device and integrate it with the dsp-disk application for control and monitoring via gRPC and Protobuf.
