Compute Resource Inventory

This would consider hardware platforms and the middleware which provides the services, policies for resource access etc. This in order to evaluate the issues in adopting different technologies/approach. When OLIVE team get going they may pick up the approach/template.

Who for: To support SRCNet development teams

What: List of the SRC node computing platforms (current and future) within the Coral Team, identifying their architectures, capabilities and policies. First this can be done for CORAL and then develop within this discussion a questionnaire that can in later PIs be shared with wider SRCNet teams/facilities. A set of interactive face to face meetings with the right people would help move things forward and focus the discussion.

Why: - To be able to assess the technologies considered for building the prototypes taking into account the architecture/capabilities/policies in the different SRC nodes. It also begins to establish the SRCNet community.
