      In order to deploy the SKA software across the observatory so that operators, testers, users have secure and controlled access to compute infrastructure and services (front-end, infra and back office), a set of policies and procedures are required for the requirements and management of AAA along with the development of a design of integrated services observatory wide to support this.

      • a policy for AAA/IAM specifying the SKAO requirement for AAA governance is defined
        • this should include what schemas we support, how we enroll (and de-enroll) users, and link to the acceptable use policy
      • a design of observatory wide AAA/IAM infrastructure and services is defined
        • this should be based on the deployment - the documentation can be very lightweight, and then updated if this changes as a result of the Exchange migration
        • it should include a (planned) integration with roll-out of the Acceptable Use Policy.

      Supporting policies, procedures and services to provide AAA for SKAO for AA 0.5

      2 SP Brainstorm session.

      1 SP Review collated requirements from  SP-2622.

      4 SP to come up with a draft policy OR modification to existing ISMS policies to include these additional factors.

      3 SP define of user roles (Role-Based Access) to fit into categories of access levels.
