PSS.LMC pipeline device (CTRL) can be controlled by a simple Taranta dashboard. It is able to send a prebuilt standard configuration Json.

The Cheetah logs are captured by PSS.LMC pipeline device as Tango attributes.

Documentation updated according with the current functionalities.

Description

CTRL is part of the SKA LMC infrastructure and it acts as a bridge between the PSS.LMC core devices (Controller, previously Master, and Subarray) and the Cheetah pipeline container. It can start and stop the pipeline. The Cheetah configuration can be implemented either as command line switches or as XML file. CTRL is also capable of collect the syslog style output of Cheetah. It forwards all logs to SKA logging system and parses it so relevant info are sent to the LMC chain.
