DSH SPFRx (Digitizer) RXPU uses the same TALON-DX card for communicating with digitizer modules located on the DSH indexer.  Software development in support of SPFRx123 furthers the DSH SPFRx123 project, and provides indirect benefit to common software elements shared by CIPA team. Software development required for SFPRx123 CDR has become critical path and requires CIPA team resources to make up schedule.  Rather than removing team members from CIPA, this software development work will moved into the scope of CIPA work.  Successful SPFRx123 CDR is a requirement for the DSH Element CDR.

    Description

CIPA team has been supporting DISH Digitiser software development, as this work is based on the common Talon-DX hardware platform.  This work needs to be continued. (See SP-1774)

While the completion of Feature SP-1982 in PI 12 provided the basic software requirements in order to support Qualification testing, the remainder of specifications outlined in the DISH LMC-SPFRx ICD have yet to be resolved. With this feature, we plan to accomplish the remainder of work required to complete the SPFRx Monitor & Control software suite of TANGO Device Servers. The work in this feature is encapsulated by Key Result KR3 in the Objective SPO-1368.

The accomplishment of this feature will allow team CIPA members to close off this involvement, and plan to return their primary focus to CIPA stories in PI14.
