    Description

      The SDP control system and services need to able to discover the status of components in the system (including other control system and services components). Some of this information will come from the application layer, but some of it can only come from the platform layer.

      Eventually the control system will need deeper access to the platform than just the Kubernetes cluster level. For example, the controller Tango device should eventually be able to control the power state of the servers used for the processing.

      This spike is to investigate and start to define the interfaces that are needed between SDP and the platform layer. This will need input from the Services ART.
