A demonstration of how a multiple of beams can be individually started, stopped independently.

A demonstration of how this new functionality supports the scheduling of subarrays, highlighting how being able to start and stop independent beams has a positive impact.

    Description

Current beamformer design imposes that all beams are started and stopped simultaneously. This imposes constraints in the synchronization of different subarrays, which may share the same tiles (stations). Having independent start and stop time for each beam allows independent scheduling of subarrays.
