      Dashboards with compact tree-like structures can be displayed. Useful/needed to scale up dashboards when dealing with tens of devices/subdevices.

      • the widget can be configured (# of circular crowns to be displayed, their colors, the info to display/print in each circular sector)
      • the widget can be configured and told where to dig the tree structure from
      • zoomingin/out is possible on the chart

      Extra bonus:

      • the circular sectors can be clicked (at that point that node becomes the center of the diagram and new circular layers are drawn with children of the node
      • some mouse/keyboard gesture is made available to do a drill-out

    Description

      a new widget needs to be added to the palette made available by Taranta.

      It is a starburst/sunburst plot that displayes a fragment of a tree-structure in circular form and allows drill-down and drill-up navigation on the tree.
