    Description

The Direct Fourier Transform is one of the most demanding processes in SDP, possibly affecting the whole sizing of the system.

This feature investigates how using the Direct Fourier Transform compares to using FFT/degridding in the Imaging/Calibration pipeline. The comparison will look at effects on the resulting image, and the trade off with performance implications.
