      This feature was a clone from previous PIs reaching back to as far back as PI10. During PI12 this feature concentrated mainly on refining definition of factors of the Rack Management Board. These include the APIU interface, functionality of the RMB and the protocol between the microcontroller and Tango devices.

    Description

      This feature continues the work started in SP-1563. It will focus efforts on the Rack Management board activities which were not able to be completed in PI10.

       

      Develop and test drivers for RMB (template for CMB); 
      Document control/command/attribute interface,
      Unit and integration tests to include into MCCS,

      Demonstration of power and health management.
      Implement control protocol for remote intelligent hardware devices.
