      • have a list of capabilities available for PST
      • greater understanding of the capabilities for PST

      • Demonstrate control of the PST beamformer firmware via the TANGO API.
      • Be able to control an aspect (test packet generator) of the PST beamformer firmware via the Tango hierarchy.
      • Enable communications between Subarray and Controller TANGO devices.
      • Implement rudimentary version of the commands:
        • Assign resources (assign channels to be used as input for beamforming)
        • Configure scan
        • Start scan (start transmission of data)
        • Stop scan (stop transmission of data)
      • Demonstrate that:
        • commands trigger Subarray and Processor (controls FPGA)  observing state changes as expected (as per observing state machine),
        • firmware registers get programmed as result of  commands issued, and
        • data flow start/stops as expected.
