In order to continually drive up consistent and secure software development practices, a uniform set of validations need to be applied to both the source code and the delivered software artefacts.  These checks will provide the canonical reference for the meaning and intent behind the SKA software development practices and standards, as well as providing valuable input into the assessment of the state of health of the software eco-system surrounding the SKA.

Before these checks can be implemented, a facility is required for establishing a linkage between GitLab and the Artefact published into Nexus via pipelines.

A process has been demonstrated where by different artefact types can be published to Nexus decorated with source metadata. These published artefact events trigger a webhook that initiate a workflow for checking the artefact and providing feedback and quarantine when there are issues
