      Forming use cases to drive future Data-lake and Science Analysis Platform development and testing.

      As a SKA System Scientist, Operations Scientist, SDP developer, and SRC developer I want a set of use cases identified as a starting point for discussions to drive future prototyping of the SRC platform and its interaction with other parts of the system.

    Description

      Consideration of SRC use for:

      • AA0.5 Data transfer use case
      • Science user engagement WG (SRCSC WG6) - PI11+?
      • SDC1 solution workflow knowledge share with Ghita for caching testing - PI11+?

      Consider the use/role of different technologies for the Science Analysis platform that could include but is not limited to:

      • Batch model - PI11+?
      • DIRAC model - PI11+?
      • Dask accelerated Jupyter notebook env - PI11+?

      Also, consider the results of the AAVS2 data transfers, and that we still don't have Use Cases for the things that people wanted to do with the data that was transferred.
