After re-creating the flow in the MCCS PI#8 demo in a Jupyter notebook form (AT2-638) & delivering it to Viola we've iterated a few times (early, in AT2-617 and late, in AT2-618) with members of the Viola team (mainly Vani & Ursula) to get Jupyter notebooks that they can use to execute commands on the LOW PSI.
Though the iterations, we gathered feedback (AT2-650), and supported (AT2-662) Viola increasing custom notebooks. we also created a Jupyter notebook readthedocs page (AT2-619) which captures many of the FAQ from the interactions we've had.

    Description

As a PSI user, I want some example Jupyter notebooks that I can use to configure and control SKA LOW so that I can confirm SKA LOW devices are integrated successfully.

Verifying PSI integration requires that the full control and configuration chain be exercised, from TMC LOW down to element LMCs. To support this activity, provide some Jupyter notebooks that define MCCS allocation strings, configuration strings, and perform a simple observation. The content should be transparent and easily modifiable so that engineers can tweak configurations to perform their own tests. Examples of how to customise the content should be provided.
