      The BITE MVP Build 3 enhances BITE functionality developed by SP-960 by adding functionality required for testing of the TDC signal chain: ability to insert an RFI tone in the generated LSTV, software design to generate delay models required for LSTV (start of implementation possible, but not expected to complete). 

      DISH Packet Server Tool will be enhanced to include spectrum display required for testing of the newly added functionality.

    Description

      The intent of the TALON Demonstration Correlator (TDC) is to have a correlator on the sky using the TALON hardware and Frequency Slice Architecture (FSA) signal processing algorithms. TDC will be used for early integration with  DISH, TMC and SDP.  Mid.CBF DDD and Test Specification define the hi-level BITE architecture;  BITE firmware and software developed for TDC will be fully re-used for Mid.CBF.

      BITE MVP Build 3 bitstream includes all firmware included in BITE MVP2 and in addition RFI Tone Insertion.

      BITE MVP Build 3 software provides ability to configure, control and monitor LSTV generation, Bandpass filter, RFI tone insertion, wide-band data capture, generation and visualization of wide-band state counts and auto-correlations.

      Software for delay model generation for LSTV design and possible start on implementation.
