    Description

      Gianni Comoretto is working on a draft document SKA_LFAA_RACK_network.v2-2.pdf that includes some initial considerations on how to:

      • organise the network structure in the LFAA SPS, both for the control network and for the
      data transport network
      • assign MAC and IP addresses
      • manage the Low Array network.

      Although the document is not complete, it would be timely to review it against the SKA1 network design and provide feedback to the SPS design team who are developing this document as part of a detailed specification of the SPS management software.

      Note: the document attached may not be the latest version. This should be obtained.
