New Features

• A new transmission.num_streams option governs
  the number of streams a sender should send data through.
  With this new option we also correctly handle the case
  when the number of channels is not a multiple of the number of streams,
  in which case channels get distributed as evenly as possible.

Deprecations

• The transmission.channels_per_stream option is now deprecated
  in favour of the transmission.num_streams option.
