How should asset identifiers be encoded and asset data stored

We are currently building the antennas for AAVS3 and we need to:

1. Provide a database to manage them in.
2. Provide an instruction to the supplier how to encode the unique asset identifier on the equipment.

This decision needs to be made urgently because we need to instruct the supplier very soon.
