Summary:
We believe we have completed most of this feature. Review of XRADIO documentation (while resolving outstanding issues with PFL noted in Processing CoP) is not finished, as we prioritised other work. Work on developing initial prototype WSClean that can image with MSv4 is done.
Outcomes:
Outstanding issues regarding PFL have been captured ska-sdp-datamodels outstanding issues - Google Docs We have not resolved all of the issues, and significantly more work is required to understand them.
We have evaluated potential C++ Zarr libraries for WSClean to use https://gitlab.com/ska-telescope/external/wsclean/-/tree/pan-214-add-msv4-reader?ref_type=heads , and opted to use Tensorstore
Have implemented a WSClean prototype that can image using MSv4 https://gitlab.com/ska-telescope/external/wsclean/-/tree/pan-214-add-msv4-reader?ref_type=heads
