A series of Confluence pages have been created which look at the different aspects of engineering user support interfaces. The MCCS Confluence workspace now contains the sub-folder 'MCCS User Interface':

The proposals and areas discussed are based upon discussions with subject matter experts, and operators of precursor telescopes.

Description

We need to develop a high level concept of how the system will be monitored by engineering users, in the context of lab/PSI situation.

Examples from tools used on AAVS include:
. bandpass Monitor plots from data captured in files
. support for "playback" of files from DRAM
. support for control of internal ADC signal generator
. User monitoring interfaces/dashboards to show health, spectra, antenna signal amplitudes >>Team Viola and Team NCRA
. implement and use of external/asynchronous local data file processing for engineering

Review experiences at precursor telescopes and lessons learned, propose a set of user interactions needed to exercise and diagnose the MCCS system
